Terms and Conditions

Welcome to RunX! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RunX (“the Game”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Game and stop using it.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Automatic (“Anonymous”) Accounts

• When you first launch RunX, we automatically create an account for you using a unique anonymous ID and profile ID—no email needed.
• You can enjoy the entire core game in this mode; however, anonymous progress cannot be recovered if your device is lost or reset.

2.2 Account Linking (Email & Password)

Linking your account with an email address and password unlocks extra security:

• Open Settings → Connect (under "Secure / Sync Progress").
• Enter your email and create a password.

Once linked:

• Password resets are handled solely through the Reset Password button in-game; we’ll email you a reset link.
• You can change your email at any time in Settings.
• After a password change, simply restart the Game and sign in with the new password.

2.3 Restore from Linked Account

If you choose to restore progress using a previously linked email account, all current progress and purchases on your device will be permanently erased and replaced with the data from that connected account.

Once replaced, the previous (local or anonymous) data cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming the restore process, especially if you've made progress or purchases without linking.

You are responsible for keeping your email and password confidential. If you lose access to the registered email or forget the password, we may be unable to restore your account.

3. Cross-Device Play

• A linked account may be signed in on multiple devices, but gameplay can be active on only one device at a time.
• Starting simultaneous sessions on two or more devices can cause data conflicts or errors. Finish a session on one device before opening another.

4. Game Center & Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), RunX will log you in automatically.

• Your scores and achievements are submitted to both our servers and the platform leaderboards.
• Your profile picture from those services appears in-game for a personal touch.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Game for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Game or its servers.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Game’s performance.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Engage in behavior that harms or harasses other users or damages Mad Psyrin’s reputation.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

All artwork, code, audio, designs, and other content in RunX are the property of Mad Psyrin and protected by applicable laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for entertainment purposes only. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any portion of the Game.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Game’s source code.

7. User Content & Data Sharing

Gameplay data such as your username, rank, high score, and linked avatar may be shared globally to power leaderboards and social features. By playing, you consent to this sharing and confirm that any content you submit (names, chat, custom skins, etc.) does not violate third-party rights or laws.

8. In-App Purchases

RunX offers optional in-app purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or platform policy. Please review each transaction carefully before confirming.

9. Updates & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue RunX—or these Terms—at any time. For material changes to the Terms, we will give at least 30 days’ notice via in-game message or our website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Game or Terms.

10. Termination

Mad Psyrin may suspend or terminate your access to RunX at any time—without notice—if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful behavior. Upon termination, all rights granted to you hereunder cease immediately.

11. Disclaimers

RunX is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mad Psyrin disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mad Psyrin and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use—or inability to use—RunX.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mad Psyrin, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:

• Your use of RunX;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party right.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your Jurisdiction] for any dispute arising under these Terms.
